Sculpt the figure under the guidance of renowned portrait artist and sculptor Rick Casali at his private north light studio. Artists will create a seated or standing figure veiled in classical drapery. Learn the “anatomy of the fold” and how to make your fabric describe the pose of the figure beneath. Each day will feature numerous demos by Casali explaining the essential knowledge for making life-like figures with sound anatomy. Topics covered: “action” of pose, human proportions, geometric planes, specific anatomy, and the organic rhythms that tie it all together.
