An opportunity to sculpt a realistic portrait from life with internationally acclaimed sculptor Rick Casali. This unique 4-day workshop will feature several daily demonstrations in clay covering the structure of the neck and skull, facial proportions, geometric planes, and the specific anatomy of the eyes, ears, mouth, and nose. Casali’s philosophy defines structural form as the foundation for expressing the spirit of the model or portrait client. Recommended for portrait painters, sculptors, students of drawing, computer animators, designers, and wood carvers. Artists will produce on life size head in terra cotta clay to take home. Two models. All skill levels welcome!
